Boulevard

Pink Panther (a.k.a. Scott) bought me this boulevard on a halloween night out. We got all fancied up in our Halloween Garb and hit up Bar Abilene in Uptown. My hours of toiling over my mothers sewing machine paid off as everybody liked my Oompa Loompa costume. I went for the old oompa look becase A) the new oompas are stupid, and B) the old Oompas are so creepy in such a funny way it just had to be done.

So Mr. Panther didn't even know about buy-me-a-beer when he picked up the tab for this Boulevard, which is fabulous! It just proves that are genuinely kind people who will buy you a beer just for the hell of it. That, and I think dressing like a childrens cartoon character requires you to have to make a little effort to make some friends... Although mr. Oompa Loomp probably shouldn't talk.

Bar Abilene was kindof a letdown as far as halloween costume viewing. probably less than half of the patrons put any effort into a halloween getup if at all. Next year I think I'll purchase a sexy nurse costume and check out Ground Zero.
