Fat Tire

Food food food! I love food. And I love cooking food! so does Katie. She comes by every now and then and we whip up something fabulous. This night in particular Katie showed up with two paper bags containing one Fat Tire each. Yay!

Fat Tire Beer has just recently made the migration east from Colorado and landed in our liquor store shelves, which couldn't make me happier. Or my taste buds happier. When a fine Belgian Trappist or Scottish ale isn't readily available, the fat tire can step right up and mingle with the big boys.

Accompanying our fine beer selection this night was some homemade pesto gnocchi with asparagus and marinaded grilled shrimp satay with vegetables. Hot damn. The pairing was divine, If I do say so myself.
