The temperature was somewhere in the 90's, and humid as all hell on this day, so it's not surprising that the cold beer that was bought for me by Matt was a near climatic experience when I took my first swig.

Matt is the first random person to meet me at the pub to buy me a beer since the site has launched. Luckily he wasn't a psychopath. That's a good thing. Our conversation actually ended up spanning several beers. I've got to say, on a hot day, a dimly lit, air conditined bar is by far the most fabulous place to be.

When I took a photo of my beer, the gentleman (I hesitate to call him that) sitting next to me reels around and asks what I took a photo of. He didn't think it was amusing as I did that I was taking a photo of a glass of beer, but he just wanted to make sure I wasn't taking photos of him. That's interesting on so many levels that I won't go into. In hindsight, I really wish I had snuck a photo of him in when he wasn't looking just to piss him off.
